One of the biggest sources of stress today is multitasking. While a few years back multi-tasking was seen as a top skill, nowadays people have come to realise this approach has detrimental effects on productivity, concentration, and overall wellbeing (Page 84 of my book The Dream Life Project).
Single-tasking, or focusing on one task at a time, offers a refreshing alternative. By dedicating our full attention to a single activity, we can work more efficiently, produce higher-quality results, and enjoy a greater sense of satisfaction. Transitioning from multitasking to single-tasking requires a conscious effort and some practical strategies. Here are 5 tips to help you get started.
