In this episode, we started with an apology to Professor George Kent, whom we had a chance to interview to talk about his article “The Benefits of World Hunger” and his books. We drew some parallels between what’s happening in the world today and what was happening after the fall of the Soviet Union, discussed shrinkflation, and the Swiss government banning electric heaters that the population rushed to buy. The announced planned power cuts, the replenishing Earth’s petroleum supplies, thorium salts fission that is more effective than nuclear and does not kill birds.
