Hey there, it's Jen Rulon, and I'm excited to share a deeply personal episode with you today's podcast. In this episode, I want to take you on a journey through a pivotal moment that led to a decision I'll never forget - the day I decided to quit drinking alcohol.

Let me start by saying that I don't believe I was an alcoholic when I made this choice. But I also heard something crucial that stayed with me: "You don't need to hit rock bottom to stop." It's a powerful statement, and I genuinely believe that if I had waited until I hit rock bottom, I might not be here sharing this story with you today. And that's something I'll never know for sure.

So, I want to share my story with you. I want to take you back to the moments that shaped my decision. The moments when I realized that alcohol was playing a more significant role in my life than I had ever intended were when clarity emerged, and I had to make a change.

But before we dive into the details, I want you to know that my story is my story. It's my journey, my experiences, and my decisions. While some of you may relate to parts of it, others may find bits of wisdom or inspiration. And that's perfectly okay because we're all on different paths.

If you find something in my story that resonates with you or have questions or thoughts you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to reach out. You can send me a direct message or an email at Jen@JenRulon.com. I'm here to connect, to listen, and to learn from you as well.

This episode is about being open and honest, sharing my background and the moments that led to my choice to stop drinking. It's about acknowledging that sometimes, you don't need to hit rock bottom to make a significant change in your life. It's about embracing those moments of clarity and having the courage to take a different path.

So, let's embark on this journey together. I hope my story adds value to your life and reminds you that change is possible, even when it feels daunting. Because, as I always say, whether this helps somebody, whether this helps one person, five people, or nobody, that's okay because this story is my story, and I'm here to share it with you.
