In this epsiode, we talk to Ben Stewart, Sales Director of Wemyss Family Spirits.
An independent family-owned company with a long-standing history, we make exceptional Scottish spirits with an ever-growing portfolio of award-winning single malts, blended malts and natural gins.
Brother and sister team; William and Isabella Wemyss, started their spirits journey in 2005 when they founded WEMYSS MALTS. William was inspired by his experience at the family's French vineyard and with the family's Scottish roots began exploring the blending of quality single malt whiskies. Whisky, new make spirit, oak casks and mature whisky are expertly sourced by William's sister, Isabella, to produce superior, small-batch blended malt Scotch whiskies.
During the chat with Ben, we discuss:
- Ben's career to date
- A moment in time that's made Ben make the change
- The history of Wemyss Family Spirits
- The love behind each bottle, the timelines and process going from grain to glass
- Looking back, life lessons
- Previous guests question
