Hello everyone, today I talk about the 80s era of the Minnesota North Stars and how they made a run for the playoffs and the Stanley Cup. But ultimately they would fall to the Islanders and the Edmonton Oilers led by the great one Wayne Gretzky. Also later in the decade attendance and record became worrisome as the North Stars owners started to threaten to move to the San Francisco bay area. Sadly the next decade would be the last for the North Stars in Minnesota because, in the early 90s, the team would move to Dallas and become the Dallas Stars.
