You’ve heard that journaling can be a profoundly healing self-care tool – a way to gain clarity, ease your mind, or simply reflect on the day and find gratitude in each moment. But does it really work? How do you do it properly? Is that a thing?
Today, we’re chatting with Allie Mirosevic to uncover simple journaling tips that can improve your mood and overall mental wellbeing (and learn that there’s no right or wrong way to do it – as long as it’s yours).
In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • Allie’s beautiful entrepreneurial journey and spirit
  • Let’s define what journaling actually is
  • The benefits of journaling and how they’ve shown up for Allie
  • An overview of Allie’s self-care journal format
  • Shifting and overcoming the obstacles to making journaling a habit
  • How journaling can especially help empaths and HSPs
  • Tips and tricks to help you get started
  • The power of vulnerability
  • Allie’s 3 favorite prompts to dig deeper

Allie is the founder of Bliss'd, a self-care company that helps moms live more joyful, fulfilling, and connected lives through journaling. Allie discovered her love for journaling after having a challenging first-time postpartum experience in 2019 and is now designing a line of easy-to-use gratitude and connection journals. Prior to starting her company last year, Allie worked in travel marketing for a decade - always with the intention of moving into her own company eventually. Originally from Chicago, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband and 2 children.
