With regards to legal cannabis, social media giants like FB are clear- traditional channels are shut off in advertising, promotional activities and content that has any context regarding health and wellness. Further, restrictions extend into a companies ability to reach not only your organic followers, but funnel and engage with new ones.

Admins on our FB group, primarily Mama Epps continuously land in "FB jail", and had our business pages suspended for violating community guidelines over conversations, no sale solicitation....just showing and talking about a plant.

Thankfully there are alternate platforms like LinkedIn where you can responsibly provide resources, promote your services, products, brand and be on the same playing field that traditional industry professionals and companies enjoy.

Whatever your opinion (or debate) on businesses, freedom of speech, or even any companies inherent responsibility to their users. I think we can all agree after the last year, social media platforms are falling under scrutiny for both their actions and inactions.
