But I have found what is missing is that defining point in someone’s journey, what some might call a light bulb moment, that changed the direction or trajectory for that person.

It could have been an idea, a good or bad decision, someone who influenced them, a change in strategy or behaviour or a deal that went south and suddenly made all the difference.

Welcome to The Hidden Upside podcast, a show with Honest talk about Real Estate, Life Lessons and Mindset.

I am your host, Chris Shebib, and my goal with this podcast is to have our guests share those details, the lessons learned, the challenges faced, and the steps they took after that made all the difference.

In my 20+ years of life in real estate as a realtor, speaker, coach and award-winning real estate investor I’ve managed millions in renovations and contracting projects in Canada and the US, bought and sold homes, helped generate returns on investment properties, received a National Top Investor Award and been featured in numerous national and real estate media.

But the bottom line with all of that heavy lifting is if it wasn’t for trying, failing, learning, and developing I wouldn’t be where I am today.

This is what I mean by what I am looking to bring you on this podcast. Real value in learning from others, understanding and learning what it was that made a difference when someone faced an obstacle or needed to pivot or change a behaviour.

That hidden side of a lesson learned, a mistake made or the secret success sauce someone has will in turn help you know what it might take to accelerate your own real estate investing success.
