034: It’s not what you do, it’s why you do it

When I was 18 I went through an extreme and detrimental phase of disordered eating.
A lot of people track their food and eat healthy, but I got to the point of refusing a nibble of my birthday cake when I turned 18.
On the surface level eating healthier and working out is a great thing, but when it’s driven by a place of trying to feel good enough by achieving a certain body it can destroy you.
Today I dive into understanding why we really do the things we do. In an effort to encourage some self-reflection on anyone listenings part to their behaviours as well.
To me, this of paramount importance for a happy and fulfilled life.
