I want you to imagine some strange things for a second:

Imagine if studying for maths made you get worse grades.

Imagine if saving money made you more broke.

Pretty messed up.

Well, what if dieting to lose weight made you fatter? Sounds equally stupid, but in reality, this is true for a lot of people. Maybe you’ve even experienced it?

You follow a diet or gym program, see some short term results, fall back into old habits, inevitably return to the old body, then find it even harder to see results the next time you try.

It is the seemingly unfair outcome of so many diets, detoxes, and short-term challenges out in the fitness world. I’ve spoken to so many people who are eating very little, moving a lot, and now can’t lose weight.

Mainly due to their past history of yo-yoing with their lifestyle and weight. And as someone who has had a hard time with his body himself, it genuinely saddens me.

If you’re someone who has experienced this before, my latest podcast is for you. I breakdown why most diets and challenges ruin people long-term. As well as what to do instead.

If you haven’t been down that road before, well, prevention is the best cure. Armed with this knowledge you won’t fall prey to the marketing traps of a lot of terrible diets/training protocols.
