Anxiety is something everyone deals with in life. A recent UCLA study of over 1.2 million people found that the average person experiences 3.4 bad mental health days a month. That's over 10% of your month.
In this episode, we dive deep into how to overcome anxiety both in the moment and long term. We give you practical tools to get out of an anxious state when you're "deep in the hole" as well as how to retrain your brain long term. We also go into what a state is, how to change them, and the power they have to effect what you see in the world.
Nick, in particular, spent a lot of time in anxiety and was depressed for 6 years and these are all tried and true techniques. They have not only a lot of personal experience, but are backed up by cognitive behavioral psychology as well as neuro linguistic programming (NLP) psychology.
This is an episode to save and listen to when you need it if you deal with anxiety. It is something for everyone to understand around state changes because the ability to change your own state is when you really begin to unlock your personal power. So many people change their states with external things and never learn the power they have to change their own state and really lead themselves well.
