Multi-platinum selling Grammy/Dove award winning Contemporary Christian Music pioneer John Michael Talbot joins us today.

He was a country rock pioneer with his band Mason Proffit that was on track to be a Supergroup when their hit song was banned from radio stations. Mason Proffit opened up for the Eagles and Aerosmith.

We talk about his childhood growing up playing baseball, getting into to music, drugs, sex and rock n' roll. And we talk about how he was born again and his part in the Jesus Revolution.

He studied many different religions including Buddhism, Muslim, and mystical ones. We talk about why he chose Christianity and how he became a monk.
