Joe Wurzelbacher, aka "Joe the Plumber", became a champion for the everyday man during the 2008 presidential election after asking then Senator Obama regarding how his tax plan would affect his small business. Obama's response, "When you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." After those socialist sounding remarks, Conservative press seized the opportunity and Joe Wurzelbacher soon found himself a household name. Since then, he campaigned alongside multiple national candidates, including the late John McCain, in addition to his work to bring awareness to school safety.

In this episode, Joe and Lucas discuss his rise to the national spotlight, the role of faith in his life, his relationship with McCain, as well as his newest venture, SwiftShield, an innovative classroom security device to project against school shootings.
