Alistair has run Moose Anger Management since 1995, and been in the counselling field since 1989. He leads a team of anger management therapists which include his partner in life and work, and co-owner, Alejandra Proaño, MPsy, MSc, MLit, PCC, RCC. This experience includes working with anger and trauma, and historic abuse in a manner that honours each person and allows for deep healing, as well as looking at the practical tools of anger management. During the last twenty-eight years he has worked with thousands of people, mostly men, who have made the phone call out of a desire to create change. Alistair helps people to connect to the intelligence that exists in their heads, hearts and bodies in a manner that invites a deeper connection with themselves, and those close to them. He works exclusively with self-referred clients, which includes those sent from the workplace, or strongly encouraged by a partner, family member, and unfortunately, sometimes, a lawyer.
