In this episode we hear from Amber Thomas, a dietitian specializing in intuitive eating, who shares her story of being shamed by her son's pediatrician for sharing that their family enjoys Lucky Charms.

Amber and I use this experience to discuss the concept of the Division of Responsibility, a best practice of child feeding that not only empowers children to make their own choices about what they put in their bodies but encourages families to serve food such as Lucky Charms regularly in order to feel comfortable around them.

We'll share how to implement the Division of Responsibility in YOUR home as well as some empowering language that you can use if you find yourself in a similar situation with a doctor or other authority figure.

If you've had a similar experience with your child's doctor, I hope you'll share it in The Messy Intersection Facebook Community.

Also check out my free resource "Division of Responsibility 101," a printable PDF that covers the basics of this feeding method and gives you troubleshooting tips.
