“It’s like our time together is just ours. It’s our own creation…”

The summer season is over (metaphorically)! To close out our second volume of the That Summer Feeling theme, we’re taking a midnight stroll along the Wien River with our favourite couple from the 90s… Jesse and Celine! Joined by the podcaster extraordinaire Matt Brothers (from Is Paul Dano Ok?), we dive into Before Sunrise — the first film in Richard Linklater’s groundbreaking trilogy about love, loss and the passage of time. Come for the elevated movie discussion; stay for the revealing chats about our favourite cities and how mobile phones have wrecked romance.
GUEST BIO: Matt Brothers is a London-based screenwriter and podcaster with a passion for focused, character-based storytelling that aims to subvert broader genre elements. Alongside a five-part web series ("Temp") and a debut stage play (”Four o’Clock”), his short films include the sci-fi "Absence" and the Holliday Grainger starring, horror-comedy “Goblin?” (dir Christian James), "Pros and Cons"(dir: Rob Vassie) and his self-directed “The Devil’s Dice”. In addition to his successful writing career, also the host and producer of the podcasts Is Paul Dano Ok?, Spocklight and Sudden Double Deep.

RAPHAEL LECAT is an actor; some would say thespian, some would say clown; others would say human golden retriever (and by some, he means himself...) Raphael was born in France to French parents but quickly became a third-culture kid after his family moved to Singapore. This is where he discovered his passion for theatre and decided to make it his mission in life to be a vessel for stories old and new through the craft of acting.
