Feel that pressure in the air? I’m not talking about humidity, I’m talking about the inevitable stress that comes with the end of summer and back-to-school/back-to-work Virgo season. So this week, I’m breaking down the two pressure centers in our Human Design chart: the Head and the Root Centers.

With the Head as the source of mental pressure and inspiration, and the Root as the source of physical stress and energy, it’s no wonder we’re feeling it from all sides!

No matter if you have these centers defined, undefined, or completely open, I’m unpacking what they mean for your chart and how you can practice.

We’ll get into:

  • why the Head Center can put you in an overthinking spiral, and how I use visualizations to get out of this space of mental confusion and self-doubt
  • how to find clarity in your Head center and practice what feels like "good" thinking instead of pushing yourself past your limits
  • why the pressure of the Root Center can lead to burnout and how defined Roots can manage their natural green-light-go energy
  • why undefined or open Roots can often feel like they’re not being productive or doing enough, and how to relieve that pressure without trying to keep up with everyone else

Plus, I’m sharing what it feels like for me to have a defined Root and open Head, and how I deal with the competing pressures in my life. Pour a cup of your most relaxing beverage and hit play!
