Embracing Life's Unexpected Detours

“Often what may appear as a detour in life is actually the most direct and empowering path to your destination” - James Arthur Ray

Life is often compared to a journey along a path, and just like any path, it comes with its fair share of detours and unexpected turns. Embracing these detours can be challenging and overwhelming at times if we allow ourselves to look beyond what is happening around us. Most times these detours are teaching us important lessons that are essential for growth and discovery. In order to overcome and navigate the detours in life, business and/or careers it takes adopting a resilient mindset and the will to adapt to the changes.

Keep an open mind and think on things that are still positive while working through the detours. Rather than viewing detours as obstacles, see them as opportunities for new experiences and lessons that enrich your journey.
