Behind what some may think is an impossible achievement lies a story of determination, resilience, and the power of the human spirit. Todays guest is Joan Curran Darkortey, aka “The Difference Maker”.

A journey that began with a seed of imagination, turned into a vision of what could be, to founding Liberia Economic Development Initiative (LEDI) with her husband Rufus Darkortey. This will be the first of it’s kind state of the art “Public Library and Technology Center” for the people of Liberia, West Africa. Joan and LEDI, envision a future without limits.
Liberia, nestled on the West African coast, is a country rich in history and culture, marked by its distinction as Africa's oldest republic. Founded in the early 19th century by freed slaves primarily from the United States.
