In the guest chair today, is an author, entrepreneur, and financial literacy advocate committed to closing the wealth gap in America; Ebony Beckford. Ebony’s work is guided by the notion that early financial education is a key component to achieving financial independence as well as building economically prosperous communities of color.

In 2020 she released her best-selling children's book, Madison’s 1st Dollar, which led to her starting Fin Lit Kids, a multimedia company that empowers adults to teach basic money concepts to kids 3-7 through fun and engaging games, books, activities and content.

Ebony’s work has been featured on NBC News New York, Essence.com, Madammenoire.com, and multiple blogs. She was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from UPS Ignite and Accion Opportunity Fund to grow her business.
