Many factors impact the health and recovery of Le Bonheur’s tiniest patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, also known as the NICU. Of course doctors provide expert medical care, but an army of people provide additional wraparound care for these patients and their families for a range of needs, including development, parent engagement and mental health.
