#037 - Join us for an incredible conversation with Holistic Herbal Chef Wilnise Francois on the nourishing, sensual connection we have with food and how plants help us to reawaken the light body.
In this episode, Wilnise shares wisdom on the experience of Manje Limyè (eat light) in connection with plants, and physical and spiritual wellness. She also offers profound insight on how her lineages in Haitian and African indigenous herbalism influence and shape her embodied lived experience, and how the plantcestors help us understand how to belong in diverse community within the larger web of connectivity and knowing.
Wilnise Francois is a Holistic Herbal Chef, Licensed Nurse, and Herbalist with over 10 years of experience working in the modality of allopathic healing. As founder and curator of the small business Well Fed Apothecary, she has been working to revolutionize the cultural concurrence between earth's botanical plants and heaven's celestial bodies.
While collaborating with physicians and caregivers worldwide, her role as an herbalist extended with the merging of treatment methods from her traditional Haitian practices and her studies of Western herbalism.
In honor of the people's optimal level of health and wellness, she has vowed her life to continue bridging the gap between the sacred indigenous knowledge and the modernized technology of our world.
