#42 - Join us for an amazing conversation with Women’s Health Practitioner Khetnu Nefer as she shares about foundational plant wisdom she learned from her grandmother, how the path of herbalism has changed her life, and the power of being a conduit for healing and resource.

Khetnu also shares the inspiration that guided her to create The Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering, an incredible herbal conference for Black and Indigenous herbalists and community. We first recorded this for the Plant Spirit Herbalism Summit, and it was such a gem of a discussion that I wanted to share it with you here. Such potent medicine for these times!
Khetnu Nefer is a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Educator, Massage Therapist, Herbalist, Reiki Master, Author, Sound Healer, African Dance Professor, and founder of A Soulful Touch Wellness. She is also the Founder of the Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering, an herbal conference for Black and Indigenous herbalists and community, happening this year from October 6-8, 2023 on picturesque John's Island, SC.
This herbal conference is a weekend filled with informative workshops that span Gullah Geechee culture, herbal and holistic health practices and other useful topics from amazing teachers of Gullah Geechee heritage and from around the Diaspora.
You can purchase tickets, learn more about the conference, and apply for sponsorships here: https://www.gullahgeecheeherbs.org/
