June Gervais's debut novel, Jobs for Girls with Artistic Flair (Pamela Dorman Books/Viking Penguin, June 2022), is a coming-of-age love story about a young queer woman striving to make it as a tattoo artist in the gritty, male-dominated tattoo industry of the 1980s. Jobs for Girls with Artistic Flair has been featured in The New York Times, Newsday, Shondaland, Autostraddle, Ploughshares, and Lambda Literary's "Most Anticipated LGBTQIA+ Literature," and praised by Booklist, Publisher's Weekly, and Kirkus Reviews as "thoughtful and tender," "charming," "immersive and wholly alive...original and a pleasure to read." June's essays and stories have appeared in Lit Hub, Writer’s Digest, Sojourners, The Common, Cordella, Big Fiction, The Missouri Review, and elsewhere. Alongside writing, her many jobs have included shelving library books and taking classified ads, graphic design and grassroots organizing, art direction and teaching. She holds an MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College.

Jobs for Girls with Artistic Flair is available in hardcover, ebook and audiobook! Support indie bookstores with your purchase by buying your copy through bookshop.org (or audiobook at libro.fm), or find it at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Apple Books/Google Play, and all other major retailers.
