Appraisals. In our real estate investment careers we're all going to need one. In this episode of the Property Wizard, special guest Terry Egan CRA joins Fred and Bernie in an all encompassing conversation about how property is evaluated. Find out what an appraiser is going to ask for, the appraisal techniques that appraisers use, the associated costs, and how properties slated for redevelopment are ultimately appraised.
Terry Egan CRA has worked in the Real Estate Appraisal field since 1988. He currently works at Shore Tanner Associates, a well known Eastern Ontario appraisal firm. Terry recently completed a ten year term working with the Province of Ontario, Attorney Generals' office, more specifically, on the Board of Negotiation (BON) dealing with compensation for land owners whose properties were in the process of expropriation.
