Hey Mama - This episode is one of a very special few that I’ve decided to re-release as part of my maternity plan for the second half of 2022 because I loved the conversation so much. So whether you’re listening for the second time around or if you missed it when it first came out, I’m confident you’re gonna love this one too. Thanks for being here with me!
In this episode, I'm chatting with Sarah Peyton, author, constellations facilitator, Certified Nonviolent Communication Trainer and neuroscience educator, integrates constellations, brain science and the use of resonant language to heal trauma with exquisite and warm gentleness. She teaches and lectures internationally, and is the author of the book “Your Resonant Self: Guided Meditations and Exercises to Engage Your Brain’s Capacity for Healing." Her second book, The Your Resonant Self Workbook, is about the relational neuroscience of the unconscious contracts that constellations so often let us disentangle. Her third book, Affirmations for Turbulent Times, is also available from any bookseller.

In this episode you'll learn:

  • Sarah’s story of coming from a home without obvious abuse, yet the lingering transgenerational traumas she still needed to navigate
  • How disorganized attachments can persist in family lineages and turn into generational trauma
  • The good news about healing attachment styles and how it is more than possible
  • The power of relational parenting to change the world
  • Resonance and its place in nervous system regulation between people and the power it holds for trauma healing

A radical mother is a woman poised in her power ready to disrupt cycles of generational trauma running through her family like wildfire. She's working to improve her life, the lives of her children, and shape the landscape of her community. If that's you - you're in the right place.
This podcast is designed to connect you with resources, inspiration, and the reminder that you are not alone as you embark on your journey of radical mothering.
I’m your host Christa Bevan and I’m a nervous system educator for cycle breaker moms as well as a certified TRE (trauma releasing exercises) provider, and a trauma-informed yoga instructor. And of course, a fellow Radical Mother. My approach to this work blends neuroscience backed tools and heart-centered intuition.
