In our 1st episode of season two, my guest Zach Humm and I discuss the human nature of Christ. After reading through B.B. Warfield's work, "On the Emotional Life of Our Lord", we set out to review Christ's human nature and the emotions he experienced here while on earth. There tends to be a natural tendency to either conflate the two natures of Christ, or to magnify one nature over the other, to the point where one of the natures seems utterly extinguished from view.
To help us in understanding the person of Christ, we review the Chalcedonian Definition, the Communicatio Idiomatum and the heresies that sprang forth from misunderstanding the human nature of Jesus Christ.
