Happy Friday everyone! This week we are joined by mental health coach and advocate, Rachel Summers. Rachel is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy coach with the Canadian Mental Health Association’s BounceBack program which is designed to help people improve their mental health and well-being. In this episode, Rachel talks about her personal mental health journey with clinical depression, dealing with a loved one’s experience with addiction, and trauma. She explains how she had to create her toolkit of coping strategies and learn to use her soft skills as her strength, rather than a weakness.
