In Nov this year, a case came to the forefront which brought a reminder of the Nirbhaya case. It was as traumatic and got similar reactions. It was the Shraddha Walker case where a woman in a live-in relationship for three years was chopped into 35 pieces by her partner. She had found the boy through a popular dating app. Our guest for this episode is Geetika Malhotra, a psychotherapist trained in Singapore and London. You can find her on Linkedin.
Digs:
1) Why is the blame being put again on a woman- Cultural patterns?
2) But again, why was she taking the trauma?
3) Do women have a pattern to take traumas? why? Historical relevance?
4) Do We think society and men are changing? They are but there are still patterns of old thought processes.
5) Blame on dating apps and crime shows- how fair is that?
6) Loneliness and trauma?
7) How should society react? How do we keep the trust alive?
Keep well.
