In this episode we discuss meditation. If you are just starting to do meditation or tried it in the past it can be difficult, Jane and Emily give some tips on this topic. If you not tired meditation there are many to be found on YouTube, but it best to listen to them before as if you don't like the voice then it is not going to work for you.
We also said that the position that you are in does not not matter so much as long as you are comfortable. You can sit on the floor with your back to the wall legs out, sit crossed legged, on a chair, lie down on the floor or bed.
The top tips

  • Get comfortable - you may want to fidget but just breathe through it or shake it out.
  • With a guided meditation find a voice that you like such a Gordon Smith
  • Start of in short amounts of time i.e 5 minutes, and build up the time slowly.
  • Most importantly if you start over thinking, concentrate on your breathing, a steady in for about the count of 4 hold and the out for the count of 4. Breathing is the key!
