Overview: The need to shift to working from home came without notice for many organizations. This unpredictable turn led many employers to pivot to a virtual workforce at the start of the pandemic, and most that shifted are still managing a virtual or hybrid workforce. From higher productivity to increased work-life integration, some organizations have reaped positive outcomes in spite of this unplanned shift. However, others are struggling with issues such as inadequate technology solutions, lower staff engagement and morale as well as the impacts of social isolation and distractions at home. In this panel discussion, leaders will be given solutions that have worked for other organizations that have championed this shift to a virtual environment.

Listen in and hear considerations as well as positives for organizations deciding whether or not to go 100% permanently virtual.

Highlights:

- develop effective plans and engagement for virtual operations long term while enhancing the virtual working experience - create a virtual workforce that offers far-reaching and positive effects on operations, talent attraction and employee morale - prepare your leaders to operate their organizations during a shift to a virtual and develop strategies to re-integrate remote workers when there may be a shift back to workspace

Presenters Dr. Tracye Weeks - Team Leader and Senior Consultant, Nonprofit HR Tamika S. Hood, CPDC, PHR, SHRM-CP - Consultant, Nonprofit HR Michael McElroy - Associate Consultant, Nonprofit HR Aimee Wood - Associate Consultant, Nonprofit HR
