The Tim Corrimal Show
Episode 753 – August 4, 2024

Show Art - JD Vance laying face down on a couch

On episode 753 of The Tim Corrimal Show, I am joined at the round table with Joe (Joseph Santorsa on Facebook and @Marnus3@mstdn.party on Mastodon) from The Poorly Written Political Blog, Adam Hebert (Adam Hebert on Facebook and @theadamhebert on Threads) from RadioForHumans.com, Matt (@MessagingMatters@mstdn.social on Mastodon) from The Messaging Matters Blog, and Justice Putnam (@justiceputnam on Twitter and @justiceputnam@sfba.social on Mastodon) from NetrootsRadio.com and http://www.dailykos.com/user/justiceputnam.

On the show this week we start out with introductions and our Heroes of the Week segment, then we discuss clips of Jen Psaki predicting that Trump’s ‘weirdo’ running mate will respond to the cat ladies controversy with gross, misogynistic, sexist, and racist attacks on Harris, Ali Velshi warning about the dangers of Project 2025, and Karl Rove telling FOX News that Trump is clearly in a subordinate role to Kamala Harris and it’s making him feel uncomfortable. Next we discuss clips of the Republican Mayor of Mesa, Arizona, John Giles, after endorsing Kamala Harris issuing a warning that Trump will refuse to leave office if he wins a second term, Jake Tapper slamming Trump’s election denialism at this Minnesota rally, Jonathan Lemire mocking JD Vance and Trey Gowdy for trying to clean up Vance’s childless cat lady remarks, and then Joe gives us another hilarious Clown Car Update with a parody report about couch victims telling their sexual assault stories. Then we discuss clips of Jon Stewart mocking the GOP and conservative media’s attacks on Kamala Harris, Fred Trump, III on ABC’s The View saying he is voting for Kamala Harris and would campaign for her without hesitation, and Kamala Harris at a rally in Atlanta, Georgia slamming Trump for dropping out of the ABC debate. Next we discuss clips of Trump losing it on ABC Rachel Scott’s questions at the National Association on Black Journalists conference, Kamala Harris responding to Trump’s attacks on her race, and the panel on ABC’s The View hammering Trump for his behavior at the NABJ event. Then we close out with clips of CNN’s Jonah Goldberg ridiculing JD Vance’s very stupid take on Putin releasing Evan Gershkovich as well as Pennsylvania Gov. John Shapiro hitting back hard on JD Vance’s criticisms by calling him a ‘total phony baloney’.
