Hola, dearest listener and beloved patron,

Hope you're well in your world.

I'm well aware I blither away on here, bouncing around like some kind of methylated Tigger character, but I'm not gonna lie to you, I've been feeling a bit on the more shites-ville side of myself this last week or so. Despite getting back on the horse at the comedy village live shows, I think there's been quite a bit going on internally. Healing from the operation, little kids off to big school, nights drawing in, whilst at the same time feeling a tad vulnerable, older and weaker as a result of the op. It's a building back process that I'm aware of, but live stand up is very much a 'match fit' kind of operation and as I've headed back into that side of things, I've felt conscious of a considerable amount of ring-rust!

But as I know, even when the sun is behind the clouds, it's still up there innit, so despite it absolutely hammering it down with rain yesterday, Tom convinced me to go for a lift outdoors at Platypus heights!

I'm so glad I did. Being cold and wet really helped calm my mind from pointlessly churning things over, notwithstanding the slightly ludicrous physical effort it requires, I found it really theraputic. Of course, sharing the time laughing with Tom was, and always is, an absolute tonic. And as I'm attempting to remain conscious of my need to look after myself on all levels, as I navigate through the weeds towards clearer waters, it was both heartwarming and hilarious to hear how Tom had been treating himself over the last couple of weeks!

I'm so tempted to drop the hint here, but I'll let you listen to find out. It's well worth it!

Big shout out to Steve Swindon and Lucy Haskell for their superb "Pant Cage Reports" as well.

Big Love to you all and

Enjoy the podcast.
