Dungeons & Dragons has had the Open Gaming License as an Industry Standard for 2 decades. In a "shocking twist" a Corporation has decided that they no longer want to share their creation and let others profit from their work. Needless to say, many fans are upset and have cancelled their D&D Beyond subscription accounts to show their displeasure. But what is it that they are truly upset about?
Later we talk about some of the latest trailers that dropped, like "Renfield" and "Ant-Man & Wasp : Quantumania" Skungy's Pick of the Week is Marvel's Midnight Suns which is currently available on Next Gen consoles only. We close the show with our thoughts on the 40 year in the making sequel from Mel Brooks....History of the World Part II. Can Mel Brooks humor still be funny in this day and age, or will it be watered down politically correct tripe?
All that and more on The Week in Geek with D Squared.
