What's Good Revolutionaries? What happens when you bring fashion to sport and then you multiply it with the goodness of a community, you get a brand and lifestyle that brings about personal revolution. My guest, Curran Swint, is the founder of one of the fastest-growing cycling communities in the country, Kings Rule Together (KRT)/Queens Rule Together (QRT) For the uninitiated, cycling has been a thing for folx of color for quite some time, think Major Taylor (google him)and most recently, Charon Smith (Mr. 200 Meters, but due to the pandemic, cycling became an outlet for people to gather together safely, enjoy community, and as Curran says, look amazing. In this episode, Curran highlights the successes and challenges of curating a brand and community that revolutionizes how they see themselves. He discusses why it is important for us to change the narrative of working in silos and that we achieve more when we can figure out how to work together, thus his mantra of "Ruling Together". And, he discusses the importance of having the right mindset to succeed. This seems to be a common theme in 2023. Mindset changes everything! Enjoy.
