In this episode we are joined by Ryan Waters, an international, worldwide mountain climber, pole skier and owner of Mountain Professionals. Ryan's company is the only boutique guide service that leads expeditions to all Seven Summits as well as the North and South Poles. We open with how he first got into climbing and how it led him to abandon his career in geology to become a full-time guide and climber. Ryan has climbed all of the Seven Summits, which includes Everest, multiple times. He also skied to both the North and South Poles. He filmed a documentary called, "Melting: The Last Race to the Pole," and is in the midst of writing a book. His book should be released sometime in the summer of 2021.

MOVIES/STREAMING: Walt is working his way through Halt and Catch Fire on Netflix. He also caught the classic WWII flick, A Bridge Too Far, also on Netflix. Ryan, when not leading adventures around the globe, likes to binge The Office, Selling Sunset and The West Wing. Alan is continuing his journey through season 6 of Star Trek: The Next Generation along with season 3 of Longmire.

READING: Walt is working his way through, "Is This Something?" by Jerry Seinfeld. (Yes! He finally got it.) Ryan recommended a book called, "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind," by Yuval Noah Harari. Both Walt and Alan were fascinated at the subject and plan to add it to their own reading lists. Alan is knee-deep in reading news, news and more news.

LISTENING: Walt is going back and picking up episode of The Rocky Minute podcast. He is also enjoying the new show, ABCD:TOS with former guest, Tom Taylor, as one of the hosts. Walt also did a plug for the upcoming radio broadcast coming on Halloween night, our 6th Annual Halloween Spooktacular. Ryan loves loading up on podcasts and binges them while on his climbing and skiing adventures. Some he recommends are, Radio Lab, Ted Interviews, Joe Rogan and National Geographic: Overheard. Alan gives a shoutout to several podcasts he listens to. This week's list includes The Marine Corps Movie Minute, Geek to Me Radio, Golden Rage of TV, 60MW Podcast, The Real Queens of Queens, The Bad Cop Bad Cop Show, BK on the Air Escape Pod Podcast, Indiana Jones Minute and Radio Labyrinth.
