This week on the podcast I’m joined by the amazing Anairis Quiñones! If her name, or better yet her voice, sounds familiar it is because she is one of the anime industry’s rising stars. She’s been doing voiceover work for a long time but most recently, she’s been cast in two of the most popular franchises: in Pokemon: Twilight Wings as Nessa and in My Hero Academia as Mirko. In this episode, Anairis and I discuss being in the anime industry as an Afrolatina, representation of Black and Latinx characters on screen growing up, being a part of these two iconic franchises, and so much more. We may have also fangirled over our mutual love of Digimon, just a teeny tiny bit.
