In honor of Mental Health Awareness Day on October 10th, this week’s podcast is all about anxiety and taking care of your mental health. I’m sharing my personal story of dealing with anxiety as an entrepreneur, as a woman, and as a mom.
It’s so important to me to normalize talking about anxiety and mental illness, because the more we do, the more others are willing to share their own stories. The truth is that over 19% of adults in the United States have an anxiety disorder, so if you’re struggling, you are not alone.
We are talking about:

  • the difference between feelings of anxiety and an anxiety disorder
  • discovering the source of my anxiety
  • the unique anxieties we face as women, as entrepreneurs, and as moms
  • the ten things that have helped me the most in managing my anxiety
