Dr. Cavaluzzi completed his Geriatric training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Prior to completing his fellowship Dr Cavaluzzi worked as a hospitalist for 8 years. Together, counting both the acute and chronic care arenas, Dr. Cavaluzzi has been caring for the elderly population for 18 years. In addition to patient care, Dr. Cavaluzzi is a certified medical director and also has been a guest speaker/panelist at various events. He has been a presenter at the Alzheimer's Association Regional Meeting of the Minds. At the meeting, he spoke about how to treat the behavioral symptoms associated with dementia. Dr. Cavaluzzi has also been a guest panelist for The Rockland County Center for Aging. He was a panelist at their Elder Abuse event and Caregiver Support Symposium. Dr. Cavaluzzi is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
