Karlin Chan is a staple of the NY Chinatown community. During the COVID 19 pandemic, when Asian hate crimes surfaced again, he created a neighborhood community patrol to keep everyone safe. Additionally, Chan created the Chinatown Mural Project, is a busy Chinatown community activist and advocate, and is the elder of the Hung Ching Association.
