"New York Times" reporter, Katie Benner, recently tweeted and then retracted the claim that Trump supporters are "enemies of the state" and should be treated as "national security threats." Is this claim accurate? Perhaps 70 million Trump supporters believe that Biden voters are "enemies of the state." If they do, is that claim truthful? Or, conversely, is it morally wrong and politically volatile to treat millions of supporters of either major party as "national security threats?" If so, why?
