Today I'm talking about anger, rage, trauma recovery & complex PTSD (CPTSD). I go over how you can use your anger and rage to 'heal'. How when integrating your anger and rage it can really serve you and how the fight response can come up so you can advocate for yourself. I talk about healthy ways to use your anger and rage to serve you. To go from fawning to boundaries and self-expression. I use a technique that I believe is similar to internal family systems and briefly mention polyvagal theory. I talk about somatic practices to be in your body and feel what you are feeling. To listen to what anger and rage have to say. I talk about how my trauma shows up often as perfectionism, fawning, people-pleasing, emotional flashbacks, and feeling unsafe and how I navigate that. I share how I work with my resistance and do integration (shadow work).
