Ultrasound is an indispensable adjunct when performing vascular access in the subset of patients that need it. Unfortunately, ergonomics are often not ideal when performing POCUS-guided vascular access, especially when the ultra-portable POCUS devices are used.

The folks at Oculine were kind enough to send me one of their devices (specifically made for the Butterfly iQ+) and in this video I unbox it and show you how its used, both with peripheral IV’s as well as with nerve blocks. Check it out!
