As our kids enter into those harrowing teenage years, they often think they know best. And as parents, we want our kids to see us as guiding forces, rather than overbearing authorities.
In this episode, I interview Miles Mettler, PH.D., the author of the new parenting book 52 Parenting Principles: How to Bring Out the Best in Your Kids.
His principles will have you building relationships with your children, really getting to know them, and shaping them along the way as they grow.
-------

Miles Mettler has been an ambassador for Focus on the Family since 2016. Originally from South Dakota, Miles received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from South Dakota State University. He is an author and recently wrote, 52 Parenting Principles: How to Bring Out the Best in Your Kids. Miles is certified as a life coach, a Leading from Your Strengths facilitator, and self-talk trainer. He and his wife Christy have four children.
