With the FDA's recent approval of a new drug to treat people suffering from Alzheimer's disease, the approval could be a nightmare drug spending scenario -- an extremely expensive product that millions of desperate patients could be eligible for. What factors went into that decision? And what can be done to lower the out-of-pocket cost of prescription drugs for consumers?
