Welcome back to the Unsaid Truth Podcast, presented by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. This weeks episode is brought to you by Medtronic a medical technology corporate foundation focused on building opportunities through its Research and Development program which supports innovation and innovative solutions in STEM across HBCUs.
This week Jerrin and Khadija are joined by two former Thurgood Marshall College Fund Medtronic Scholars to talk about remote vs. hybrid work models. Nicholas Darby and Takeria Chapman attended college and entered the workforce at a time when remote work was at its peak.

In this episode, they’re going to share their opinions about whether they prefer a fully remote, hybrid, or fully ‘in-office’ job. You’ll also get tips on how to stay motivated and productive throughout your work day. While a lot of people went from an office job to working remotely, Nicholas actually had a remote internship that led to a remote position. While he loves being fully remote, Takeria talks about the importance of a hybrid model for her productivity and mental health.

Stick around to steal their cheat code for both working remotely and working in a hybrid setting, and we want to know! Do you prefer to work fully remote? Or does a hybrid work model appeal to you more? Let us know in the comments.

Remember to subscribe and tune in wherever you get your podcasts. We’ll see you next week, new episodes are out every Wednesday.
