Chloë Goodchild in conversation with poet & creator of The Poetisphere, Colin Goedecke, discussing compassion, poetry, education, relationship, and much more.
The VOCE Dialogues offer a simple, accessible in-depth ground for poets, authors, musicians, visual artists, and visionary teachers to share and disseminate their insights about the transformative practice of contemplative, creative and compassionate communication.
Illuminator Colin Goedecke guides The Poetisphere, an oasis of regenesis for seekers of greater aliveness and possibility. He’s also the longtime host & voice of the live, free, weekly Floating Poetry Broadcast series of evocative and contemplative cultural commentary, poetry, shared inquiry and discovery. Findable on YouTube. And serves as Poet Laureate of the Truce Foundation of the United States, since 2017, where he’s been a lead cultural contributor to the International Olympic Games and The America’s Cup. Among his daily touchstones are the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air. "And those of poet Mary Oliver, from the end of her poem The Summer Day, "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life.” Living in vibrant and soulful daily conversation with life, self and the living world, and encouraging others to live there, is why he’s here.
For those who want to get a feeling for The Poetisphere, there’s all kinds of public content to engage with there, including an explore/“tasting” menu.
