R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to Datak! We all know that the Castithan likes to make a statement, but now he can do so on the Defiance town council thanks to the intricate webs his wife Stahma weaves. But he’s not the only one struggling for a little respect - both Quentin McCawley and Amanda Rosewater need it in their lives too. And nobody seems to have much respect for the Rosewater’s mother - at least for now.

In this week’s Voices Of Defiance, Shannon, Sean and Stargate Pioneer venture into the world of post apocalyptic respect during their rewatch of A Well Respected Man. “Global” town events aren’t put on hold either as the town figures out how to deal with the loss of the Lawkeeper and Stasis Net (Duh, try to rebuild or repair the Stasis Net in Bissel Pass) while advancing the economic status of the town with a Mag Lev spur.

The trio also discuss the five Defiance Minisodes launched at SyFy.com over the weekend and where we might find Nolan at the start of the second season and whether or not Nolan and Lennie actually set up The Watchmen from the beginning or not. And the announced premiere date of Defiance’s second season: June 19th, 2014.

Other quick discussions during the podcast include: How SciFi fans are some of the most critical and judgmental fans around, Pondering if The Volge sing their children lullabies like Earth Vikings, Our admiration of Erin Grey, Diversion into the classic cars used in and around Defiance, Where a man who needs a grace period might find some legitimate new-world Viagra, Speculate on just where Christie might be (hint: it has to do with ropes and the Tarr bath house), Discuss the Antarctica Public Relations Department, Feel sorry for Rafe’s foreman Rupert, How cookies make EVERYTHING better, and Reminisce about how the Sky Regent Stratocarrier reminds us for the Robotech SDF-1 or a downed Halo capital ship.

See you next week as the hosts discuss the next Defiance episode, The Serpent’s Egg. Contact us: @VoicesODefiance - feedback@voicesofdefiance.com - www.voicesofdefiance.com -www.facebook.com/voicesofdefiance - 612-888-ark1 or 612-888-2751.
