It is well-known in Star Trek that if you look like a beloved character but have a goatee, you are an evil version of that character. I propose a superset function, which I am calling the Voyenture Time Unified Rule of Inverted Personalities:
Any changes to a character's face are the cause of an inversion in their personality. Good becomes evil, weak becomes strong.
Consider the EMH: black eyes and an underbite lead to him becoming evil Dr. Doctor.
Consider Spock: all it took was one goatee to make him try to murder Kirk.
Consider Xergiok: having his eyes removed made him good and kind.
