Catherine is the daughter of multi-award winning director William Wyler. Her father, William, directed the 1944 Memphis Belle documentary, that was used to boost morale back in the US, as well as a number of other movies such as Ben-Hur, The Best Years of Our Lives, Withering Heights and many more.
Catherine herself went on to produce the 1990 movie Memphis Belle and be Executive Producer on the HBO documentary The Cold Blue.
